Kato set out to create a Chino Pant that is both authentic as well as comfortable, and they found a way to make one. Their answer was to create the “4Way Stretch French Terry Chino", which uses French Terry fabric for supreme comfort, while looking like a Chino Twill. On top of that, it was important to incorporate vintage design elements, and finish with garment dye to create an authentic product. Because this is a slim fit trouser it was important to have 360 degree stretch, so that you will feel comfortable all day and forget that you are wearing a pair of chinos. You can wear this pants to work or for pleasure, and you will look sharp, feel happy and satisfied. They can easily be dressed up or worn casually, while providing you with sweatpant level comfort in either situation.

The look of Denit was inspired by the handsome washes of Kato's selvedge denim - but don’t let appearances fool you here, as the Axe Chino has replaced the five pocket design with traditional chino welt pockets, making these trousers enough for a long plane ride or evening at home, while the fabric allows you to blend these bottoms seamlessly for day to day chores.
